Throughout the year Reading Public Schools has teacher in-service days for staff to attend professional development. On these days there is no school for students.
On in-service days, BASE offers a full day program available to K-5 students actively enrolled in the Extended Day Program. This program runs from 8am to 4pm and is based at one of the five elementary schools.
Registration for full day programs are separate from base Extended Day enrollment. The fee for full day registration is $75 per child. Capacity is determined based on available staffing.
